![]() ![]() The Poison and Bone tree allows you to play as a ranged caster that can deal with most of the game's content alone. Dim Vision will shut down archers/those atrocious ranged ghosts you'll encounter in Act 3. Grinding to level 24 sucks in Act 2 but it's worth doing IMO. Decrepify in particular is very useful against bosses and it's how I deal with Duriel in Normal difficulty. The curse tree is full of one point wonders, practically every curse has its use and it's not a bad idea to take them all. Their AI is also horrible, you'll really feel why PoE has support gems like Predator. Revive is sort of like Raise Spectre but the minions are timed and die after 3 minutes. Skeleton mages are.not great? Some people use them? Up to you. Skeleton Mastery is crucial in scaling your skeletons into higher difficulties. An early point into the Amplify Damage curse will effectively double your early DPS. You'd generally start off with raise skeleton, you start with a +1 raise skeleton wand (like a +1 level skill gem stat in PoE, works exactly the same here and + skills are very high value stats for any caster) so you can get rolling pretty early. ![]() Pure pet builds in particular clear content pretty slowly. Expect it to be slower gameplay, of course. ![]()
